Siem Reap is the gateway to visit the wonderful ruins of Cambodia, most specially the Angkor Wat. It has a wonderful collection of ruins from the Khmer Kingdom.

Here are some photographs I have collected during my temple tours and some of the food we have tried as well.

Photographs taken using Fujifilm XT20 35mm f2 and Fujifilm XT10 18mm f2.

Angkor Wat Temple

The biggest and the most spectacular of all the temples in Angkor.

The magnificent Angkor Wat from outside.

One of the four small towers of Angkor Wat.

I was so amazed at all the details of this temple.

Look at those detailed carvings!

This is a wall of fine carvings!

These are some of the sculptured that were damaged.

The perfect reflection of the temple.

Ta Prohm

It is one of the most popular temples because of the environment created by the trees that grew in it. This is also where Lara Croft: Tomb Raider was filmed.

The hallway near the entrance.

The tree that grew in the temple.

These are the crumbled walls of the main hallway of the temple.

We got to enter one of the restricted areas!!!

It really looked simple from the outside!

Angkor Thom  (Complex)

This is where the king used to live in and so does their priests and military officials, thus it is called The Great City.

It also houses some of the famous temples in Siem Reap.

The Angkor Thom Gates

Bayon Temple

It is famous for having the four faced towers.

Located inside of the complex.

As seen outside, there are faces from the towers of the temple.

Here you can see a tower with two faces (half of the four faced tower).

Baphuon Temple

It is knows for its long elevated walkway entrance. It also just opened last 2011.

This is what it looks life from the walkway.

Pre Rup Temple and East Mebon Temple

Both looks exactly the same hence they are referred to as the Twin Temple. We didn't go to East Mebon anymore, to save us some time and some sweat. Both temples are big big. We didn't climb up anymore because it was too tiring. But they said it looks amazing from the top.

This is from the lower staircase because it was just too hot, we needed some rest.

This is what it looks like from down here.

Ta Som

This resembles the Ta Prohm Temple for it also has some trees that grew in the temple.

 The entrance of the temple.

My mom posing inside the temple showing the series of doors.

 Detailed carvings

My mom again posing to show some of the ruined walls.

Kullen Waterfall

This is a little bit far from the city. It will take you around 1:30-2:00 hours of travel. But it is so beautiful and relaxing, it will give you that rest from all the ruins and temples you have been to.

This is the bigger waterfall from the Kulen Mountains.

This is the smaller waterfall which is really nice for that short refreshing seat.

Angkor National Museum

This is a place where you can actually get to know the temples. We toured the temples without any tourguides. We all learned it from here, the museum. This was our first stop at our first day. And it was amazing to learn everything in here. No pictures allowed inside though.

 This was at their cafe!

 Wat Preah Prom Rath

Night Market and Pub Street

Pub Street with my family. We ate here several times for dinner.

We bought these native bags from the night market. I can't remember the store but it was near Amok. It was not inside Night Market though.

We bought some pashmina scarfs at the Night Market.

These are some of what they sell in the wet market.

This was one of our delicious dinner at Pub Street!
